Weather - Unseasonably Warm

Despite mother nature's best efforts to spoil the winter fun, the 2010 Great Bear Chase is in the books. A week of warm weather diminished the snow pack resulting in significant changes to the course including elimination of the downtown start and finish. Despite the changes, over 300 skiers pushed their way through soggy trails to the finish of another successful Keweenaw event.

Is it Great Bear Chase Time?

Even though its 40 and sunny outside, don't let it fool you...the weather here can change in an instant. What's in store for the Great Bear Chase on Saturday, March 13th? Hard to say but we've had everything from well below zero to 40+, so keep an eye on the forecast to determine if it will be warm weather klister or the hardest cold weather wax in your bag.
